Where to See Humpback Whales: The Sightings Map

Each population migrates between cold feeding grounds and warm breeding grounds, which offsets the seasons between hemispheres: December to May in the northern and southern tropics, June to September in Iceland, Norway or Alaska. That alternation is what makes the species watchable somewhere almost year round.
